Roland Steinmetz is owner of EVConsult bv (www.evconsult.nl), a consultancy company for electric mobility.
He is a Dutch National living close to Amsterdam and has a technical background from the University of Delft. He has worked in various countries as project manager, consultant and business development manager. The connection between public and private has always been his interest as well as realizing ideas into actual result on the street.
The main focus of EVConsult is on realizing EV projects within the local and national government. For example the city of Amsterdam pilot for public charging stations (www.amsterdamelektrisch.nl) which has attracted worldwide attention. Meanwhile he works on efficient cooperation between governments, utilities and commercial companies in the EV market.
Roland believes E-mobility is a chance to move to a more sustainable world. This can only be done together with all parties involved and that is why he became a member of Going-Electric.
