Robert Stussi

Robert Stussi is a senior consultant, researcher and activist in Transport and Urban Mobility and has research and teaching experience at several universities and training courses.

He received his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Major in Transportation Planning, in 1968 from the Swiss National Institute of Technology, Zurich, Switzerland, and his MSc. in Planning from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canadá. He also holds a post-graduation in developing countries from the Swiss National Institute of Technology, Lausanne, Switzerland.

He is Advisor to government and regional and local authorities end conducts studies. As team or consortium leader and as project director, responsible for the management of projects and studies financed by different countries and international agencies (WB, EU, BAD, ASDI). He has working experience in Canada, Europe, Africa and Latin America.

He is:

• President of Portuguese Electric Vehicle Association and European Association for Battery, Hybrid and Fuel Cell Electric Road Vehicles - AVERE (Vice President 2003-07) and Vice President of the World Electric Vehicle Association
   
• President General Assembly of the Portuguese Natural Gas Vehicle Association
   
• Former Member of the Board of Directors Lisbon Energy Agency (1998-2003)

Robert Stussi was representing AVERE in Going-Electric's Board of Directors until 8 March 2011.
