Bundesverband Solare Mobilität e.V. (German Solar Mobility Association) is the largest and most active group in Germany working for electric mobility based on renewable energies. Since its foundation in 1989, the bsm has organized more than 110 group exhibits (Sonderschau “Solare Mobilität”) and more than 12 conferences and workshops. The bsm had organized solar car rallyes, is publishing general information and NEWS in the internet and through the magazine “EMobile plus solar”.
The BSM has an office close to the Bundestag (Parliament) in Berlin, Germany. The BSM is the German organizer for the Park&Charge system. The BSM had a large stand at the EVS21 in Berlin 2001 and had organized the electric power supply for the test-cars outside of the fair ground (mobile charging station for 40 participants). The BSM had organized the “Solarmobility Berlin” conference and exhibition in Berlin, 17.-18.02.2010, adjacent to the “Solar Energy” and “bautec” fair and exhibition (16.-19.2.2010). The exhibitions organized by the BSM include regular participation at the eCarTec in Munich and at the Mobilitec at the Hannover Fair. The activities of the BSM are well documented in the Internet at www.bsm-ev.de and www.solarmobil.net. The BSM has about 350 members and 10 advisory members (Beirat) and several working groups (park&charge, media, foreign contacts, fairs and exhibitions and more).
The BSM publishes several websites in German: www.solarmobil.net (networking, NEWS), www.bsm-ev.de (organisation) and www.solarmobil.info (links). The official written publication is the “EMobile plus solar”, a quarterly magazine published by Solar und Net (chief-editor: Roland Reichel, honorary chairman of the BSM).
