Going-Electric, jointly with two of its members, sent in June a request for a meeting to the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) in the Transport, Environment and Industry commissions, proposing to exchange views on electric vehicles (EVs). DG-Enterprise and Industry organised in March 2010 a consultation on an European strategy on clean and energy-efficient vehicles, in view of drafting a European Commission’s Communication and possibly of reviewing the vision agreed in the "CARS 21 mid-term review". March 2009: Contribution to the Future on Transport
As a first major step, we submitted to DG-Transport and Energy a contribution to the "Communication on the Future on Transport" to be adopted by the European Commission in June 2009. This communication is a first step towards a revision of the 2001 White Paper setting an agenda for the European transport policy throughout 2010.
